I secretly wish to roam around the streets of Djemaa el-Fna, Marrakesh with utmost curiosity in my eyes, to find the oddest piece of lamps and lanterns among its busiest souks. I would trade these heels for a trusty pair of gladiator sandals or distressed boots so I could wander freely and squat nonchalantly in front of those snake charmers and story tellers whilst sipping fresh fruit juice bought from one of its lively stalls. My soul beaming with newfound love for Chleuh

Because honestly, I just think that Morocco is the place where I could best exercise my affinity to the bohemian way of life. My being chic about it is totally subjective! But I’ll try.

Let’s tick off a wardrobe checklist. Shall we?

I would wear geometric prints similar to these. And if I could find one more vest with fascinating ornithology prints on it, I would gladly let my chubby arms embrace its details. Worn over an equally interesting Tunic top of course. Exposing one’s tummy is a ridiculous and totally forbidden idea. Dreaming of Hadid-Jenner Coachella togs the night before your wardrobe planning doesn’t sit well with the Muslim community in Marrakesh. True story.

Again, I’ll be starting another skirt-over-flare-jeans love affair. Plus a suede cross-body bag and I’m off to the square.

And if I run out of clever ideas to win this boho game, I could just definitely get away with any Isabel Marant piece. Her brand is the ultimate Boho-landia.

Drools.

But if I was denied entrance to her kingdom, cause moolah’s the ticket, I’m more than happy to tread the streets in Realisationpar and Free People nonetheless.

Not choosy at all, Morocco. Just eager to meet you in style.

P.S.
I’m not sure why but some of the photos are a little blurry, I tried to tweak my screen’s resolution instead. Solved. You can do the same. Don’t want those beautiful eyes of yours stressed out from too much squinting.
