  • GREEN • Just out here taking advantage of every hint of nature. I mean. I miss it. Do you?
  • OUT 2.0 • Life lately? A random glimpse but so much more than these; did a dopamine detox for the past few months, had fun; gradually accepted reality of progressive overload with limited weights; • ;had to throw away both old pants and messed up sizing of new ones since I’m either getting fat from dirty bulking or really gaining muscles; what immensely calms me down is inching closer towards my strength goals. • Skill discoveries, side hustle and other cheesy checklist ticked. Yes, I’ve always been this corny. It’s embarrassing.
  • OUT • First time to step out of the house since March 14. This is the closest I can get to nature for now. At this little spot that I used to take for granted on the way home 'cause I'm always on my phone checking emails and whatnot. This will do for now. For now.
  • RELIEF • Obviously happy when we got out of the van. It was a moment of relief as my body was oozing globes of sweat from that wretchedly hot and lethargic time of the day. • We decided to go out instead and bask in the late afternoon warmth that still lingered faintly in our skin. Then we took photos, laughed, tumbled a few times as our feet felt the weight of the sand seeping through our toes. Climbed up sand made hills decored by crooked bodies of unrecognizable trees. | On the Blog
  • MESS • So lately, I’ve been focusing on testing two side - hustles (YT and FB monetization) that will not bear fruit yet for who knows when. But as with any business, that comes with uncertainty, the thing that comforts me besides the improving analytics is the fact that I get to immerse at things that interest/challenge me and never experience “what ifs” in life. • It’s a messy high and low. I’m enjoying the highs as much as I can. For roughly a two-week journey, I’m inching 10% on one of the platform’s requirements. I’m scared but excited!
  • BAD • Beyond all the good memories from Siquijor, I can only recall that time I almost drowned. And it overpowered the rest.
  • RUNNING • The terrain seemed friendly for trail runners and we exchanged a few pleasantries with them along the way. Beyond that, it was a peaceful hike, not as notorious as the other mountains in the Sierra Madre range. I can still hear my labored breathing from a few assaults.
  • STATIC • This was my second visit. Nothing much has changed except that this river has gotten more beautiful than when I first laid my eyes on it a few years back. Isn’t it amazing that our sight tends to mature along with our mind? How our perception of an unchanged environment shifts thru the years because of how we’ve grown as an individual?   • PLAY • The waves, shy as always in the morning, ebbed to make way for that little kid to play. Still dressed in his sleepwear, the sea fed him with curiosity by generously exposing those tiny lives that reside within and behind those rocks by the shore. It can be the kid’s love at first sight. • Or breakfast. Come on, who knows?
  • FOOL • There’s a rope that you may opt to use for assist in reaching the top of this rock formation, you know for a more scenic view of the summit. But we chose to do it free solo. Yes, without ropes, just bare hands. Since we mostly do indoor wall climbing, any foolish attempt to practice it outdoor always seemed a welcome idea.
  • SIMPLE • Honestly, I don’t remember much about the logistics of this trip. Except that it was part of a trilogy hike. And that I’ve mentioned it a few times here how I love its simplicity. The topography, the trail runners along the way and pleasing warmth. It’s funny how we can’t elaborate much on simplicity, right?
  • STRIVING • 3:22 AM now but digging further into the web, learning more about digital marketing and e-commerce world. Been doing it for three years now alongside my corporate job. It has numerous highs and lows, but I always value the experiences more along the way, rather than its lucrative end. Managing people and deadlines across different timezones taught me patience and absurd hustle. I still have a lot to explore. Hell, and failures to power through but it only excites me.
