Whenever I feel overwhelmed by the sheer enormity of what lies ahead of me (life, passion, love, places, the thrill of the unknown) I simply (and weirdly) seek the comforts of water.

Yes. Hear me out.

Be it in a glass disguised as a brain freezing refreshment.

Or in the form of a hot shower that lets out a blissful sigh in the end.

But my always (?) discerning mind prefers the piercing solitude of the sea. It makes me feel calm and grounded.  Its vastness reminds me that I am just a tiny speck in its deep and experienced glory, that my worries seem explicable and can always be worked on.

But on a lighter note, though, my everyday dose of a sure-fire way to get happy and break-free from stress is by watching “Friends“. Honest to God. And to summon that love means to express it sartorially ala Rachel Greene (who else?) circa her cropped white turtleneck top and tartan plaid skirt with knee-high socks on days.

To own the look, I ditched the knee-high socks.

Because, honestly , this post has a sober and pondering tone in the beginning, that wearing one would make me look like a negating joke.

We’ve all had enough of that, right?

No? Okay.
