A torrential rainstorm was about to greet us. But who would’ve known? There was neither foreboding thunder nor cold rushes of wind to warn us of such impending doom. (Or maybe I was just too preoccupied to drop a pint of care in the bucket of weather assessment.) Hey! Cut me some slack. Not everyone has Karen Smith’s psychic breasts.
So I stood (okay, posed) nonchalantly (fine, with choreography) against the infamous shoe museum in the hopes of shooting another piece for my humble blog, oblivious to atmospheric pressure.
But why am I doing an outdoor shoot, anyway?
I originally planned to shoot this inside the dainty interiors of a certain restaurant. The light blue walls would have complemented the shade of my one-shoulder dress situation and the brightly colored floral illustrations would have aided me in constructing a better prose. You know, in an attempt to make you smile. Or nod along at least. But no can do, amiga. The room is cramped with sweet talking people and pancakes. (You know I can’t compete with chocolate syrup!)
So we ventured out onto the streets. (Hi, Ma!)

A big fat plus if intentional creases are included as an additional allure to what can be an interesting cocktail drama.
But we had our own little twist of drama then. The heavy downpour came out of nowhere just a few minutes after packing things up. As if to put an interesting end to a worthwhile day.
And yes! We braved the rain.
