Christmas is fast approaching. The weather turns and the daylight hours start to dwindle. But still, there are those days when I choose to be completely devoid of any weather reports and just dress up like any normal day.
No, it wasn’t a cozy cool sweater weather then but enough to justify wearing one. Laziness is a factor too. I don’t know but I always have this notion that people who opt for monochromatic colors/ensemble are either inherently minimalistic or just plain lazy. I tend to gear towards the latter. So, when you see me wearing a head to toe look composed of one or two colors, go figure.
See, I am a woman of too many colors and unnecessary bling. Evidently, to settle in a look that is completely scarce of those factors really tells something. My weekdays now have been predominantly a two color affair. I guess I’m just overwhelmed by the sheer number of things on my plate right now that the mundane task of mixing up colors is often overlooked.
I wish I could master minimalism on both aesthetic and life as a whole.
Nonetheless, when your cup is brimming with good things, who are we to complain?
